DESIGN
STRATEGY
The design research methodology we use at TEDS is particularly effective when it comes to strategy and visioning. Scenario testing in these situations allows us to use our creative / academic expertise to explore alternate futures and consider the potential consequences of short, medium and long-term adaptation strategies.
MASTERPLANNING
Our team has worked on masterplans around the world, from ecocities in China to research hubs in Ethiopia. Working at this scale allows us to explore the wider environmental conditions at play on the site and how they will change over time. Core placemaking principles are integrated through this design process.

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
We have experience in designing a range of different architectural typologies at a variety of scales for both new build and existing development contexts. For each site we create a bespoke design that responds to the context / conditions and the requirements of the client, community and end-users.
We at TEDS work in a range of different design fields, from strategic work and masterplanning right down to 1:1 custom creations.
PRODUCTS
Over the years we’ve created a variety of physical and digital products relating to environmental themes. These engagement tools are often used to help communicate (in a simple manner) seemingly complex topics. In developing each product we draw on our skills in research, design and communication.
VISUALISATIONS
We use a range of different types of visualisation techniques and tools within our research, design and training. These spans from photorealistic imagery to animations, aerial perspectives and virtual reality. These help us communicate key concepts and often provides insight to the consequences of proposed spatial conditions.

ILLUSTRATIONS
From 2D to 3D and still to moving images, we create illustrations that convey the spatial and environmental conditions of different hazards. At TEDS we have a collection of artworks that can be licensed for use but we also engage with clients to develop bespokecontent to suit a given context.
