ECOLOGY
The impacts of climate change on biophysical environments are severe and wide reaching. As global land and ocean temperatures rise it alters the start and length of the seasons and pushes ecological systems beyond their capacity to adapt. Impacts are evident on biodiversity at the species level (with regards to distribution and volume of populations) as well as in ecosystems (in terms of composition, function and distribution). Throughout our work in design and research we at TEDS ensure biophysical environments are not just maintained but enhanced and the holistic value of natural captial is crucial in this regard.
